I did. I caved. Call it commercialism, capitalism, mallism, retailism, or whatever ism you like. Justin bought me a snoogle. A snoogle is this curved maternity pillow that wraps around your body. It makes sleeping delightful.
I promise not to cave to a wipe warmer...

Thursday, 2:05 P.M.
I almost hyperventilated in the Old Navy newborn section. The sales, The cuteness-- Oh my.
We had a first in the aisles of Old Navy. I put back clothes for myself so I could by our baby girl clothes.
and so it begins.

A Girl!
I made a historically bad move. On my day off I watched My Sisters Keeper. By myself. While it was raining out. I was already a very emotional person before the onset of hormone central aka pregnancy.
I've encountered a enormous problem. I can't lay on my stomach at the pool. I hate to be so superficial to begin. It's just going to create some serious tan line issues.
Baby Staublin is a girl! A firstborn girl. I don't know what this means, but perhaps I should pick up some books on the psyche of such a child.
Anywho, the ultrasound was so neat. Mainly, because Justin's eyes lit up so much. We saw her little face, heart and limbs. At one point, Justin made me laugh (imagine if you will) and her little legs kicked apart. It was amazing.
So, other than overwhelmed hormones, we are all doing well. Excited, anxious, and tired!
