I told Justin he should be thankful. I did not become a complaining pregnant woman until 37 weeks.
I was sitting at work when all the sudden, cramps. Serious cramps. Then come the questions, are they hilly? Is this labor? Will I know when it is REALLY happening?
I thought back to our classes, midwife, and trillion books I have read. Denial is best. Go on with life. So, the past 2 weeks- in spite of the nausea, the cramps, the sleepless nights- I have been acting like it is just another day.
Although at work I will get an occasional, "you just look uncomfortable."
To which I say a sarcastic, "thanks, that really helps."
Other Updates:
I did cut back my hours from 5/ 11 hour shifts to 5/ 9 hour shifts. Color me lazy.
Justin assembled the Pak n Play and Winnie the Pooh Mobile. We still have yet to attempt the car seat. We are procrastinators. I do have the manual sitting in the seat....
Quinn is diving, so to speak. Funny story, the midwife was concerned she might be head up because her booty was so hard. She did an ultra sound just to be sure. (To the Stofko side of the family, reference was made to Quinn's "buns of steel". If you all remember back to certain Christmas when my mom made us do Buns of Steel Aerobics? So Funny!)
As far as when Quinn will bless us with her presence? I'm sure she will be a procrastinator, just like her parents.
Below is a picture of Justin, Touchdown Jesus and I tailgating last weekend.
